Stuff is going on in random order....
1. going to the UK for Easter - or so i believe - ticket yet to be purchased
2. inspired by street art - and Esthers post about the little people. http://little-people.blogspot.com/ I'm so there little things are unconquerable and walking on a piece of gum has me snared.
3. looking for work, which is a ridiculous process, because I never get jobs that I look for. Somehow during the process someone interups with a job offer from left field - so I'm applying to design firms - wonder where I'll end up? Possibly my own furniture line. I don't know but I expect to be surprised, but in the meantime see point number 4.
4. consequently feeling depressed
5. notice given at the antique store
6. the huge 8' high mirror is back after it crashed onto the island, therefore new island. Feeling a little more grown up, as I de-ghetto my home. I can actually sit at the island and leaf through a magazine while i eat cereal. No more eating on the couch. Small note to add about falling mirror NOT breaking - 7 years good luck also I dropped a glass light shade at work today and it didn't break, baffled I thought about throwing it to the floor to test the water. Possibly, I do have an angel?
7. Thinking about the move out so that the floors can be redone. I think I'd like to stain them grey and for some crazy unknown reason paint the walls lavender - it's not even my color. Hopefully I hold out for a sane white. I have a month to decide.

Sometimes point form is just plain effective.

do the lavender and grey! i was in charge of choosing color schemes for my parent's condo last summer and the slate grey and pastel green room has to be my favorite. then again it IS your apartment...
/dr.
i agree with /dr. but maybe for different reasons -- if you feel the lavender, even if it doesn't make sense and it isn't what you expect, you will regret not doing it.
see, it's life philosophy too.
I love these little people. I have to buy some of these prints! These are the kinds of ideas that just rock me....
And I am sad that you are sad.
You'd be happier if you hung out with me more. :)
I agree. Blake is a merry maker!
I feel like the little person in your photo sometimes ... like yesterday. stuck.
I dunno about the lavender thing....it would be pretty cool but I think it may drive you bonkers after a week. It depends on what kind of lavender, maybe if you could find a grayish lavender. Right now I'm envisioning a pastel mauve kind of colour.
Okay so I need to hear some Easter details (hint hint wink wink:)).
NEW Post please!
Little lisa, where have you gone???
