So this is Bristol in the Spring - I did make it to the UK after all. I have decided that traveling at the time when you can leap into spring before it happens in your own space is perfect because it is the season most anticipated. I've got to experience it twice! - I already have dibs on the lilac bush outside my building - I'm planing to burgler it so that i might have fragrant ever purple bundles by my bedside.

And this is my house/home empty,
because I had the floors redone - they are spectacular. And ready to be rented out :) The walls are all painted too. I will have to update w a new photo. I've been here 7 years, and it was something to see it all empty again, like when i first arrived w two hockey bags. I can't believe I can now fill a large cube truck. Must lighten.

This is Punkin
I was cat/house sitting while the floor business was going on. This is why I have been absent for so long, because I have been absent.

The house contents returning! Fortunately all things have found places again, and some have found new remote locations, like the good will and the dumpster.

And, I don't have a picture for this last bit, but I've at long last at the very close of my sabbatical (which I did not know until post) a job!!!!! I'm so finally ready to work and work, in a firm all day five days. The catch well it's in Bristol so it's off to the UK for me :) Adventure awaits! But obstacles first, hurdles and hoops of permits and visa's and finding a good caretaker of my home, even Isabella is going up for sale (i think).

Yikes change! But, the window it's here and open, just what i've been looking and praying for. New opportunities!

YES! For sure - I've accepted! But until the work permit is processed and I have a Visa etc in my hand, but then there is still the scary part of being turned away at customs. It's super stress'y.

I'm very curious about the details but I'm sure I will talk to you soon. In the meanwhile, congratulations!

To me, this post is about how you fixed the place you've lived in for seven years, and how you're moving from it. Funny.

Oh my gosh Lisa!!!
I'm already missing you intensely!
Please let me know what the deal is about your home being up for rent.
I have a number of friends coming into the city over the next while possibly looking for space to live.

Your home is amazing..and you're selling Isabella?
Please keep me posted about that too! I'd totally be interested in knowing the details.

Cheers!
